Within The Seasons..

I'm back..and the snow is falling outside my shop door.

Winter dreams and the promise of a beautiful spring combine in my mind and heart. As I embrace the falling snow..while lying within a snow angel...I'm pondering next spring's garden. While tasting the frosty, soft snowflakes...I can smell the sweetness of my peonies in the not too distant future.

I walk hand in hand with this moment and the next..the comfort of warm nights by the fire and the promise of soft grass under my feet. The warm mug of hot cocoa tastes ever so yummy, especially topped with those snowy white marshmallows. Mmm..yet somehow, I can taste the coolness of a tall glass of iced tea..with fresh sprigs of mint (from my garden) floating to the edge of my goblet. I see myself here and now frolicking in the snow...as it cascades down gently like crystal diamonds from the heavens above...yet I'm able to feel the kiss of a warm breeze scented with clover underfoot.

Somehow the magic of the seasons have come together at this moment in time..they have enveloped me within the gentle folds of their nature. I am promised the kiss of Father Winter's comforts..and the caress of Lady Spring's warm breath..floral splendor...and new beginnings.

T'is all Bliss to me..oh so blissfully blissful! May it be so for you!

Hiatus

My Dears,

I find lack of motivation and inspiration so debilitating. I'm bursting to write and say so much..yet nothing comes forth. I cannot lay blame on weather's door, for I do so love the cold and rainy days. I cannot blame health, for no matter the state of well being or lack thereof...the heart and mind will continue to guide the pen through it all.

I'm not sure exactly what the cause may be, but I know it'll be temporary (one hopes). Needless to say, you will find me back to my ol' inspired self and blogging away at some point in the near future.

Perhaps a hiatus is all I need.

Happy New Year!

My Dears,

A most wonderful, blessed, and happy 2010 to you all!

I welcomed the New Year within the comfort of Harmonie House, in the company of dear friends. It was a joyful evening filled with music, laughter, dancing, good food, and lots of bubbly! Midnight kissed us with smiles, hope, wishes, love, and dreams.

unlike any we've ever dreamed. Find your bliss and absorb it into your soul. Life is too short..live to the fullest and have no regrets. Continue to dream and hope. Never forget that life is ever filled with unexpected surprises and that the road to possibilities and happiness is never
..never too long.

On New Year's

My Dears,

I have lots to ponder in regard to the year 2009, for I must do some heavy duty soul cleansing before 2010 comes in.
I want to begin the New Year ready to absorb new beginnings, new energies, new surprises...new Everything! So I must begin to organize...keep the good, and out with the bad.

I plan to store away all the beautiful moments of 2009 deep within the treasure box of my heart. It will include: the year's successful moments, the laughter shared with family and friends, the moments of pure bliss and love, fruitful self discoveries, and those unexpected sweet surprises. I will have a special section for the wonder, the magic, and the dreams which helped to make this a most amazing year.

I shall sweep away, right out the door, those aspects of 2009 which were less than desirable. I shall remember them only if there is a lesson to be learned from them.

My arms are open and my heart is ready to welcome 2010.

Speaking of the new year...what are you doing New Year's eve? Please turn off the music at the bottom of this page and listen to a lovely old tune. It tends to evoke a wistful sigh or two on my part...Enjoy!





Let me close this by saying thank you..each of you.. for being one of the best additions to my life in 2009. Making new blog friends definitely goes straight into that treasure box in my heart.
