Dear Readers...please reply and let me know.

My dears...

Just checking in to know if anyone is still reading my blog posts. If so, I'll continue to post, but the last few entries yielded no response, making me wonder if it's worth it to blog again.

Do let me know. At one time I thoroughly enjoyed my blogging community and would no doubt find enjoyment within it again, if there's any interest on your part.

I wish you all joy, comfort, warmth, good health, and bliss for the coming year.

Sandra

  1. Hello Miss Sandra! Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment on Winter Solstice. If you scroll to the next entry (just below) titled :" Early December" I wrote about blogging as well. Same idea as you. Blogging was fun - once upon a time. I don't blog much any more either, but do miss my blogging friends.

It was so nice to see your name pop up in my email! Gosh, it's been eons! My first blog Caregiving is not for Wimps was all about my caregiving days. They are done now and I miss my dear hubby terribly. Seven years have gone by and it's been hard. But, I am blessed with children and many grandchildren.

I am intrigued with your being a business-owner. What do you do? I have a lot of respect for people who are dedicated and hardworking and creative enough to make all that into a business. It takes courage (something which I seem to be lacking at the moment). :-)

Times are a-changing and I think a lot of people are on Facebook. I go there to check on my family and my ladies social groups, but try not to spend too much time, as a lot of the entries are trivial. I find blogging so much more expressive, artistic and it reaches only people who are interested. FB seems to reach everybody!

Anyway, I am picking up the threads of my blogging friends and will spend time here and checking out blogs I haven't read before. I think the secret is to just keep it up, go to other blogs and leave comments - and people will respond.

You sound happy and I'm glad life is kind to you.

All the best to you and yours for a healthy, profitable and joyful 2018!

    1. Dear Wendy...I can't believe 7 years have passed since you lost your hubby. The time has flown! So glad to see you here again. Well..I now you've read my previous posts and you know/understand the direction my life has taken. Being alone is not always a bad thing...being suddenly thrust into the alone state is quite the uprooting though. I guess you understand full well the journey. I'm happy you have been blessed with children and grandchildren. I thankfully have my fur babies at home...my constant comfort and joy. I wish you joy...always. See you in blog-land! xo

  3. Dear dear Sandra, hello!

I just checked my blog, not even knowing if anyone else would come by (it's been so long), and there you were. Here you are! Yes, time and changes in work schedules and also changes in writing and artistic goals forced me to reevaluate how I used my time on social media. In Blogland however, I made the most precious friendships that I could never abandon. I still visit as many blogs as I can possibly visit, but my only social media outlet these days is Instagram. I'm trying to hone my photography skills so I can couple my own images with my writings, one day. I understand your dilemma here; with limited time and a shift in social media platforms for many people, we wonder if putting our heart and souls into blogging is "worth it" anymore....I wish you peace and joy as you find your answer. Thank you so much for coming to visit!

    1. Dear Anita...
So happy to see you've stopped by. So much has happened, so many changes...yet here we are many years later, replying to one another as we used to. It does my heart some good. I wish you oodles of luck in your endeavors (writing, artistic, etc.). I do hope to see you here in blog-land from time to time. Warm wishes for a happy, joyful, and artistically fruitful new year! xo

  4. Your blog is in my feed. If you post, I will read it. I don't really use Instagram because I don't have a smart phone to post photos.

  5. Ever so happy to meet you; thank you for stopping by my blog. I am so very sorry that we both were thrown into The Club no one joins by choice. I, too, miss my old blogging community, yet, it is difficult to sit and gather all the pain and loss to write about. I am on FB, as it is just light, keep in touch, proof that I am still living and have a life. I'm under my full name, which is on my blog. Hope to see you writing...sending all my love on the wings of a desert sparrow, Deborah

Happy to receive your comment today. Nice to see your name. And of course, nice to have an agreement. :-)

I do think we sit quietly by, too much of the time. And let our minds, be manipulated, by others. Just felt it was tooooo much. And had to "say something."

Wish I would see more posts here....

    Gentle hugs to you....
